Class

Class today was really different for me. I just didn't feel comfortable dealing with the substance. It was really hard when we worked with a partner because each person had to be aggressive in making the object but had to be very observant of your partner so you didn't get confused. I really liked our other activity with putting objects in a place and then figuring out where the place was as the objects accumulated.

I'm kind of on the same level with corey on this one. I honestly don't feel all that comfortable with the substance because I guess I just don't know what to do, cause I don't have any "past" expierences witht the substance to work off of. I'm sure I'll get better as we go on tho and it'll be fun to see if I can actually become more comfortable with the activity.

I agree totally, the substance with, or actually without a partner is pretty hard. I really don't know what it is like to mess with a substance like that. I have played with silly putty, but just as a tiny object. Oh well, maybe sometime I will get the hang of it.

I will join this group and agree with them that messing around with the substance is just weird. Not that people are watching, its that i run out of things to do. But as i think about that that is the good part of the exercise. Once we all get thru the basic streching of the substace we start to show our creativeness with the substance. I think that seeing the ways that we all see the substance differently is the interesting part. Like when Brian got me stuck inside of the substance, that was all him. He had a great idea that no one had tried yet. Pretty cool. The substance is still werid, but a cool weird.
