I agree with Brian, by knowing every little thing about why you're doing what you're doing it definately helps you to act the way you're suppose to act. Because like in life nothing is simple, when you have a problem such as you did bad on a test its usually derived from series of problems, no sleep, had to work, girlfriend..etc. And all of this plays into how you're feeling. So I've come to find that acting isn't just going out there and pretending to feel in some way, but it's actually much much more thhen that.
